Dr. Kevin V. Barber Ph.D. has been in private practice for 20+ years, serving children, adolescences, and adults.  He is a Fully Licensed Psychologist, Certified School Psychologist, and a member of The American Board of Forensic Examiners.

His focus is on Neuropsychological and Brain Function throughout the human lifespan.  This focus allows a full range of behavioral, mental health, and learning disabilities to be addressed and treated.

With experience at both sides of the table in the creation of IEP’s, Dr. Barber has been able to effectively provide educational testing, independent evaluations, represent children at school meetings, support and consult with parents with recommendations to best meet a child’s needs in school.

Once an intake evaluation is completed, an individual treatment plan can be devised.  Therapy is provided, based on individual needs, on a case by case basis. For example: Cognitive, Behavioral and Emotional Therapy or a combination could be used.

Psychologists do not prescribe medication.  If it is found medication could be beneficial, your Primary Doctor, Pediatrician, or Psychiatrist can, at your request, contact our office to coordinate your care.
